A 63% increase in Ecommerce Ad impressions compared to last week is the big story because of Prime Day, but social impressions in retail were up 7% and have grown steadily over the past four weeks. Search was up 2%

Ecommerce ad clicks increased 57% on the week. Click volumes for Paid Social were up 5% and Paid Search grew 3%.

Prime Day led to an 83% weekly increase in total spending in the Ecommerce channel, while Social retail spending increased by 12% and Search was up 4%.

Spending in every category in the Ecommerce channel was up compared to last week because of Prime Day, but Hobbies & Leisure outpaced and outspent all other categories in that regard.

Retail advertisers in the Pets & Animals category saw spending increase more than 40% over last week, while Health spending in the channel declined.

Home & Garden and Pets & Animals saw the biggest increases in social budgets compared to last week, with all named categories growing to some level..
